repost: Ini Daftar Hadist Shahih dan Dha’if tentang Wabah Covid-19

Feel the need to reshare this. Written by one of the most trustworthy national medias in Indonesia, and the media is well-known as “pro Muslim” compared to other medias in Indonesia. Sorry, it’s the truth. I was a newspaper reporter/journalist before, I know facts instead of rumors. But, apology, it is in bahasa Indonesia. I will try to translate it to English so English-speaker able to understand.

But before, let me explain, Indonesia has about 300 millions citizen and about 78 % of us are Muslims. Socially, I must say, if you want to make announcement or advice that the citizen will follow, use Islamic approach. Inshaallah, we Muslims (as majority) will listen and calmly obey.

But the thing is there are people who reshared Islamic posts blindly–I must say, without thinking twice or check and recheck whether it’s valid or false. In this case, regarding to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), lots of Indonesian shared hadith that saying what Muslims has to do during plague. There are hadith being shared too, some are valid (shahih) and others are false (dhaif). So by sharing this, inshaallah, we recognize the value of the hadith. Which one to follow and which to scrap out.

Bismillah.. here we go. And, don’t forget, stay healthy!

Hadist Dha’if 1

Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

222, hadis no. 1851.

Hadist Dha’if 2

Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

(lihat Nashiruddin al-Albani, Shahih wa Dha’if al-Jami’ al-Shoghir, juz IV, hal. 380, hadis no. 1358).

Hadist Dha’if 3

Hadis ini dho’if Jiddan. (Lihat Nashiruddin al-Albani, Kitab Shahih wa Dha’if al-Jami’ al-Shaghir, juz 9, hal. 121, hadis no. 3674).

Hadist Dha’if 4

Hadist ini Dha’if. (Lihat Nashiruddin al-Albani, al-Silsilah al-Dha’ifah, juz IV, hal. 350, hadis no. 1851).

Tuhan seru sekalian alam.

Ya Allah Tuhan kami, janganlah engkau sesatkan hati kami sesudah mendapat petunjuk, berilah kami karunia.

Sesungguhnya Engkau dzat Yang Maha Kuasa atas segala-galanya.

Maha suci Engkau, Tuhan segala kemuliaan.

Sumber tulisannya tdk disebutkan, tapi saya berhasil mendapatkan tautan aslinya.
Sumber yang pertama adalah Republika: http://m.republika.co.id/berita/nasional/umum/12/04/01/m1s02v-ra-kartini-dan-islam

RA Kartini dan Islam

Sunday, 01 April 2012 | 07:59 WIB
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, Oleh Teguh Setiawan/Wartawan Senior Republika

Dalam suratnya kepada Stella Zihandelaar bertanggal 6 November 1899, RA Kartini menulis;

Kyai Sholeh Darat memberikan ceramah tentang tafsir Al-Fatihah. Kartini tertegun.

Berikut dialog Kartini-Kyai Sholeh.

“Kyai, perkenankan saya bertanya bagaimana hukumnya apabila seorang berilmu menyembunyikan ilmunya?” Kartini membuka dialog.

Kyai Sholeh tertegun, tapi tak lama. “Mengapa Raden Ajeng bertanya demikian?” Kyai Sholeh balik bertanya.

“Kyai, selama hidupku baru kali ini aku berkesempatan memahami makna surat Al Fatihah, surat pertama dan induk Al Quran. Isinya begitu indah, menggetarkan sanubariku,” ujar Kartini.

Kyai Sholeh tertegun.

Dalam suratnya kepada Ny Van Kol, tanggal 21 Juli 1902, Kartini juga menulis;

KH SHOLEH DARAT

Pelopor Penerjemahan Al-Qur’an

Syaifullah, NU Online | Sabtu, 10 September 2011 07:14

RA Kartini lantas meminta romo gurunya itu agar Al-Qur’an diterjemahkan.

Kitab tafsir dan terjemahan Al-Qur’an itu diberi nama Faidh al-Rahman fi Tafsir Al-Qur’an.

Selebihnya, “Selamat Hari Kartini”.

Satu pesan saya, ingat ya, kalau copas informasi, pastikan sumbernya jelas. Jika tidak, sebaiknya tidak disebar. Kecuali mau repot googling mencari sumber valid, seperti yg saya lakukan di atas, hehehe.. Barakallah..

Khotib menyarankan hal simpel, shalat lah tanpa speaker. Apalagi, menurut keempat imam mahzab, bacaan surat dalam shalat gerhana cukup diucapkan sirr (perlahan). Jadi imam tak perlu menggunakan mikrofon. Jika makmum tidak mendengar bacaan imam, makmum cukup membaca, “Subhanallah..” (kelanjutannya, saya lupa.

Balinese girls walking altogether (left) among the traffic. They’re going to Pura, to pray. I took the pic from inside our car. 🙂
Papa saya memang cinta Bali.

Sekarang, kerja dulu. 🙂

Have a great Thursday.

[Soul Soother] 10 Beautiful Nasheeds

As I mentioned earlier in my previous posting, music is actually haram for Muslim. But we allowed to praise Allah and Rasulullah by recite shalawat and nasheed–no music, vocals only, usually only male, since female voice considered tempting and close to zina (adultery). Or even Qur’an recite. It’s way better than common music with foul lyrics.

And I found this beautiful nasheeds in the youtube, mixed with various language. I kind of feeling “goosebumpy” listening it. Not because of their beautiful voices, but rather the overwhelming feelings in admiration to Allah, for creating such beautiful people with beautiful voice to praise Him and Rasulullah.

[Soul Soother] Ya Nabi Salam Alayka

Since the end of Ramadhan, I taught myself to reduce my ears from listening to music. It’s hard, I admit. I’ve been listening to music since baby. I don’t blame my parents though. I just need to educate myself to stop listening to music, since it’s actually haram for Muslim. It’s true.

As it’s said in a hadits, shahih, inshallah:

The prophet (sallah allahu alieh wasalam) said “There will be in my Ummah those who make it halal (permissible) adultery/fornication, silk, alcohol and musical instruments.” [Hadits Riwayat Bukhari of hadits Abu Malik Al-Asy’ari atau Abu Amir Al-Asy’ari]

As an obedient Muslim (wannabe), what ever Allah and Rasulullah required us to do, it will be done.

Sami’na wa atho’na (we hear and we obey).

Even though the enemies of Islam tried so hard to turn this upside down and around, but eventually it is Allah Himself saved us from the wrongdoings, by showing us the right way–it calls Hidayah. Alhamdulillah.

Anyways, back to musicless life plan, so I redirected my music preference to Islamic-related. Still, there is actually no music for Muslim. Only Qur’an recite (murattal). Then again, Muslims taught there is also “shalawat”–pray and praises to Rasulullah Muhammad Salallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam (pbuh), and nasheed (singing but no music). And since I am so much in love with our prophet, even though I’ve never met him in person, that he died centuries ago, I chose Qur’an recite, shalawat and nasheed as the substitution of the “common” songs/music.

Trust me, it’s so, so, so hard to stop listening to music. Even though I want to be that pious, obedient Muslima, I am still a mere human; with flaw and lust. And Rome wasn’t build in one day, right? 😀 Okay, I just made it as a lame excuse. I shall try harder and become a better ummah for my beloved prophet. A better slave for my Allah almighty.

And there is one lovely shalawat came from this Swedish Muslim singer, Maher Zain. It’s acceptable in my ears and qolb (heart/conscience). Allow me to share it here. I copy-pasted the lyrics, in Arabic, below. My Arabic is not so good, so I copy-pasted the transliteration in common alphabet. 🙂 It’s such a soothe to the soul. Hope you enjoy listening to it too.

[Islam] Islam and Ego by Nouman Ali Khan

Mashallah, this is exactly what I’m looking for. The basic of applying value of Islam in personal life. I believe, this is also what Rasulullah Salallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam taught us Muslim/ah. Put aside ego. Religion or faith is something personal, very private, between you and Allah. It’s the habluminallah. But then again, as Muslim we have this duty toward another human beings (habluminannas) to remind them of Allah.

I actually concur with his saying about, we do our best effort and let the result in Allah’s hands. The key of heart is in Allah’s hands. We do our duty for the sake of Allah, and that’s it. Leave the rest to Allah.

Oh, and one more thing, in the question-answer session, I like the way the ustadz treated the Muslima sister. He didn’t stare at her, but listening to her question in respect. Yes, that’s how Islam treat a woman. And the answer of her question was just beautiful. Ah… well, you can check out yourself. 😉

When there’s somebody say something hurtful to you, just keep your distance in respectful way. We don’t cut relations (silaturahim) in Islam, but we may keep our distance with people who hurt us without actually say that to them. It’s a silent kind of advice.

Wow.. that’s, really, new for me. You seriously need amazing self control about this. It’s a challenge, so yes, I MUST master my ego. 😉 Don’t you want the same too, readers?

And feel free to subscribe the uploader: Iman Project. The uploader even has the Russian version subtitle, isn’t that wonderful? Thank you for sharing this beautiful lecture with us, Mr. uploader.

[Islam] Young Muslim Lecture by Nouman Ali Khan

islamic-parentingMashallah, I really love this ustadz. His lecture in this one is about parenting. He referred Al-Qur’an when it comes to parenting. Especially Q.S. Yusuf.

Good fathers are important to raise good children. Please listen. 🙂

IMHO, fathers are important. Every child needs nurturing father, who able to listen without judging. As Nouman Ali Khan said here, mothers are natural-born-parent. But for fathers, they need to work it out. Well, daddies, that’s your jihad. Be the best father possible for your children. Inshallah, Allah will give you handsome reward in jannah. Aamiin..

And, feel free to subscribe the ICNA channel, who made this lecture possible. Syukran. Barakallah.

[Ramadhan Talks] The People of ‘Aad, Story of Prophet Hud

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

Hello, dear readers. How are you today? Hope you are all doing well. AlhamduliLLAH. If not, I pray to ALLAH to give you strength and patience to overcome all your troubles. I pray to ALLAH to guide you to the right way, the best way possible, and solve what ever problems burden your shoulders. Aamiin..

My health had been a little disturbed the past two months. Even before Ramadhan, I already suffered it. But, alhamduliLLAH, praise to ALLAH, I have no trouble doing all the shaum, completely from the day 1 to today (Ramadhan 23rd), inshALLAH. That’s the “magic” of this special month of Ramadhan. I am lucky enough to be born and live in the country where around 90% of the total populations (of 300-something millions) are Muslims. The atmosphere of Ramadhan is always so thick, at least in the areas of my house and the office. AlhamduliLLAH.. I can hear people recite the noble Qur’an on almost every masjid (mosque) I passed by.

Anyways, what is it that I suffered?

It calls Hypotension. The abnormally low blood pressure. (Feel free to read the details on these websites here: http://patient.info/doctor/hypotension and here: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/low-blood-pressure/basics/definition/con-20032298)

My Blood Pressure (BP) reached 70/50 (from the normal 120/80) which is very low. The doctor has given me the medicine to reduce my headache, which is common suffered by hypotension patients. She also gave me some vitamins (B complex) and some supplements to stimulate my body produces more blood. There are also traditional medicine suggested by some friends, such as red meats (but, careful, it might boost up your bad cholesterol level), papaya leaves and cassava leaves. In the next few weeks my BP was slightly increased. Became 90/70. But it’s still pretty low. The doc said not enough, but it’s safe for me to do my Ramadhan shaum (fasting), which I did and do. But several days ago, the headache came back. My body felt as if I was boneless. So I came back to the doctor, and my BP returned to 70/50.

Generally I feel alright. I am a strong woman, I know it. But still, I’m a mortal. *duh, of course* I mean, when the BP went low, I found it hard to concentrate nor focus. So that I couldn’t write as much as I wanted for this “Ramadhan Talks” topic.

Ancient Nation of ‘Aad (courtesy of divithana.com)

By the way, talking about strong people, history has noted there was once, live in this old earth, the strongest nation of the world. They called The Nation of ‘Aad. How strong they were? Oh, they were EXTREMELY strong: body (it was said, their figure were somewhat gigantic), power, wealth.. No nation, until today, has been created as nearly strong as the people of ‘Aad.

But, classic mankind’s character, given such power by ALLAH, they tend to corrupt. They were so sure nobody, and nothing can beat their amazing power. So they “challenged” ALLAH by resurrected this religion/cult of worshiping idols that was actually destroyed before in the era of Ibraheem (Abraham).

So, instead of worshiping ALLAH, they just deliberately chose to worship *dead* idols which can do nothing for them whatsoever. In my personal opinion, the people of ‘Aad were like the bunch of brainless muscles with money, which all were useless for them when ALLAH’s wrath came upon them.

The Qur’an mentioned this strong nation several times in 2 surah:

In Q.S. 7 Al-A’raf: 65-72

Shahih International:
65. And to the ‘Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, “O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?”
66. Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, “Indeed, we see you in foolishness, and indeed, we think you are of the liars.”
67. [Hud] said, “O my people, there is not foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds.”
68. I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy adviser.
69. Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you in stature extensively. So remember the favors of Allah that you might succeed.
70. They said, “Have you come to us that we should worship Allah alone and leave what our fathers have worshipped? Then bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful.”
71. [Hud] said, “Already have defilement and anger fallen upon you from your Lord. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait.”
72. So We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us. And We eliminated those who denied Our signs, and they were not [at all] believers.

And, in Q.S.11 Hud: 50-60

Sahih International:
50. And to ‘Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, “O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood].

Indonesian:
Kamu hanyalah mengada-adakan saja.

Sahih International:
51. O my people, I do not ask you for it any reward. My reward is only from the one who created me. Then will you not reason?

Indonesian
Maka tidakkah kamu memikirkan(nya)?”

Sahih International
52. And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals.”

Sahih International
53. They said, “O Hud, you have not brought us clear evidence, and we are not ones to leave our gods on your say-so. Nor are we believers in you.

Sahih International
54. We only say that some of our gods have possessed you with evil.” He said, “Indeed, I call Allah to witness, and witness [yourselves] that I am free from whatever you associate with Allah

Sahih International
55. Other than Him. So plot against me all together; then do not give me respite.

Sahih International
56. Indeed, I have relied upon Allah , my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature but that He holds its forelock. Indeed, my Lord is on a path [that is] straight.”

Sahih International
57. But if they turn away, [say], “I have already conveyed that with which I was sent to you. My Lord will give succession to a people other than you, and you will not harm Him at all. Indeed my Lord is, over all things, Guardian.”

Sahih International
58. And when Our command came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us; and We saved them from a harsh punishment.

Sahih International
59. And that was ‘Aad, who rejected the signs of their Lord and disobeyed His messengers and followed the order of every obstinate tyrant.

Sahih International
60. And they were [therefore] followed in this world with a curse and [as well] on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, ‘Aad denied their Lord; then away with ‘Aad, the people of Hud.

Their sins of disobeying ALLAH The Almighty and became shirk (worship other Gods than ALLAH alone) had caused ALLAH’s wrath. And ALLAH, The Most Merciful, will not get upset unless ALLAH sent His messenger(s) to warn the jahiliyah (corrupted) people. Prophet Hud, one of the ‘Aad citizen, has been sent to tell them about the warning. He asked them to return to the path of ALLAH and avoid His wrath. But, still, The ‘Aad did not listen. They even mocked Hud. Scolded him and called him a crazy man (typical accusal made by past non believers toward the prophets of ALLAH).

So, on that fateful day, Allah wiped out The ‘Aad, with mighty cold wind, for 8 days 7 nights. As mentioned in the Qur’an Q.S. 69 Al-Haqqah: 6-7.

Sahih International:
And as for ‘Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind. | Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.

And, just like that, they’re gone. All of them, along with the vast buildings and monuments they’ve made. But ALLAH did save some debris left of the great monuments of The ‘Aad. For what? As a warning to today’s mankind.

You can read about the finding of the debris in full reviews here:

  1. http://www.quran-m.com/firas/en1/index.php/historical/115-discovering-the-habitations-of-aad.html

Destroying a nation is always EASY for ALLAH. And the reason to destroy a nation was always clear: the people turned zulm (destructive, anarchy, harmful to each other) and shirk (worship other Gods than ALLAH).

But what about the prophet Hud, and the good people of ‘Aad whom followed Hud and obey ALLAH? It is clearly said in the Qur’an that ALLAH saved them all. (Read the ayah above, Q.S.7 Al-A’raf:72 and Q.S.11 Hud:58)

Anyways, there is a channel in youtube, which I came to fond to watch on, called TheMercifulServant (feel free to subscribe them). And no. I am not paid to promote them. 😀 I like this channel. They have so many informations (via dakwah = preach), stories of the messengers and prophets, and all the histories of Islam througout times. And about this prophet Hud and the people of ‘Aad, you can watch this following video:

Alright. That’s it for today, my dear readers. My friends, brothers and sisters. I will write again as soon as I have the time. 🙂 Take care and be good.

Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

[Opinion] Ladies and Gents, Qiyamah is Real

Good morning, Keluarga dan KawaNina (my family and friends),

Today I’d like to talk about the end of days. End of the universe. Apocalypse. Doom’s day. Judgement day. Kiamat. Qiyamah. Ressurection Day. What ever you call it. 🙂 In Islam, as I am a Muslim, we call it “Qiyamah”.

Is it real? Will it happen? When?

Of course it’s real. Yes, it WILL happen. It’s a certainty–an absolute event. But only Allah knows when.

Wait.. If you don’t know when it will occur, how can you tell it’s an absolute, real, event?

Well, because we read the Qur’an and there is about 252 ayah (verses) from the total of 6,237 verses (including basmallah, the opener sentence) mention about qiyamah. I personally believe what ever written in the Qur’an, 100%.

First of all, let me explain why I, personally, believe in Al Qur’an. It IS the kalam of Allah (God’s words). Even though it was written by human’s hands, Allah guaranteed its purity. As said in the surah of Al Hijr (Q.S. 15), verse 9:

Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian. (Q.S. 15:9)

At first, Qur’an was delivered ayah by ayah to the Rasulullah (Prophet) Muhammad, Salallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam (peace be upon him) via malaikat Jibril (angel Gabriel). And Allah made him memorize it easily, as said in:

Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation (Q.S. 75:17)
But then, the Khulafaur Rasyidin or Rashidun Caliphs–Rasulullah, SAW best friends and successors decided to write it down, because they worried Muslims–the ummah of Rasulullah, SAW, the followers’ might forget it word by word. Especially, because the matters of the world faced by ummah get heavier and heavier each year. They were thinking about us, ummah, today, 1,400 years after the passing of Rasulullah, SAW. In short, I’m a believer. You don’t really question a believer, do you? 😀 I mean, since it’s related to one’s faith. Beside, in Islam, there are another lessons we learned and apply: 5 Rukun Islam (arkan ad-din or five pillars of Islam) and 6 Rukun Iman (six pillars of faith).

Five Pillars of Islam:

shahadah
Asyhadu an-la ilaha ila-ALLAH. Asyhadu an-na Muhammad ar-Rasulullah

(1) Shahadah: declaring there is no god except Allah, and Muhammad is God’s Messenger.

(2) Salat: ritual prayer five times a day

(3) Zakat: giving 2.5% of one’s savings to the poor and needy

(4) Shaum: fasting and self-control during the holy month of Ramadan

(5) Hajj: pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime if one is able

And, six Pillars of Iman (Faith/Belief) also known as six articles of faith:

(1) Believe in Allah

(2) Believe in angels

(3) Believe in Qur’an and hadiths

(4) Believe in Nabi and Rasulullah (messengers and prophets)

(5) Believe in Qiyamah (day of ressurection)

(6) Believe in Qada’ and Qadar (fate).

And there it is again, another mention about qiyamah. 🙂

Like death, qiyamah is something will happen for sure. In fact, death is also called as a “small qiyamah“–it’s the end of time for a person, while qiyamah is the end of time for the whole universe–but no one can be sure of what will happen exactly that time. But the holy Qur’an does mention about it. Even, there is a surah specifically talk about qiyamah.

Surat Al-Qiyāmah (The Resurrection)

 75:1 – Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection;

75:2 – Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true).

75:3 – Thinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones?

75:4 – Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers!

75:5 – But man would fain deny what is before him.

75:6 – He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection?

75:7 – But when sight is confounded

75:8 – And the moon is eclipsed

75:9 – And sun and moon are united,

75:10 – On that day man will cry: Whither to flee!

75:11 – Alas! No refuge!

75:12 – Unto thy Lord is the recourse that day.

75:13 – On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind.

75:14 – Oh, but man is a telling witness against himself,

75:15 – Although he tender his excuses.

75:16 – Stir not thy tongue herewith to hasten it.

75:17 – Lo! upon Us (resteth) the putting together thereof and the reading thereof.

75:18 – And when We read it, follow thou the reading;

75:19 – Then lo! upon Us (resteth) the explanation thereof.

75:20 – Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now

75:21 – And neglect the Hereafter.

75:22 – That day will faces be resplendent,

75:23 – Looking toward their Lord;

75:24 – And that day will other faces be despondent,

75:25 – Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them.

75:26 – Nay, but when the life cometh up to the throat

75:27 – And men say: Where is the wizard (who can save him now)?

75:28 – And he knoweth that it is the parting;

75:29 – And agony is heaped on agony;

75:30 – Unto thy Lord that day will be the driving.

75:31 – For he neither trusted, nor prayed.

75:32 – But he denied and flouted.

75:33 – Then went he to his folk with glee.

75:34 – Nearer unto thee and nearer,

75:35 – Again nearer unto thee and nearer (is the doom).

75:36 – Thinketh man that he is to be left aimless?

75:37 – Was he not a drop of fluid which gushed forth?

75:38 – Then he became a clot; then (Allah) shaped and fashioned

75:39 – And made of him a pair, the male and female.

75:40 – Is not He (Who doeth so) Able to bring the dead to life?

Islam also learns, there are signs of qiyamah approaching. Before answering, my lack in English prevents me to explain them clearly, so I copied the answer from here: http://www.islamicity.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5959 –sorry. 😦 But the answer is legit, we learned the same here (Indonesia) too.

Hadhrat Abu Musa Ash’ari (R.A.) narrates that Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhii Wassallam) said, “Qiyamah will come..

  1. When it will be regarded as a shame to act on Quranic injunctions.
  2. When untrustworthy people will be regarded as trustworthy and the trustworthy will be regarded as untrustworthy.
  3. When it will be hot in winter (and vice versa).
  4. When the length of days is stretched, i.e. a journey of a few days is covered in a matter of hours.
  5. When orators and lecturers lie openly.
  6. When people dispute over petty issues.
  7. When women with children come displeased on account of them bearing offspring, and barren women remain happy on account of having no responsibility of offspring.
  8. When oppression, jealousy, and greed become the order of the day.
  9. When people blatantly follow their passions and whims.
  10. When lies prevail over the truth.
  11. When violence, bloodshed and anarchy become common.
  12. When immorality overtakes shamelessness and is perpetrated publicly.
  13. When legislation matters pertaining to Deen is handed over to the worst elements of the Ummat, and if people accept them and are satisfied with their findings, then such persons will not smell the fragrance of Jannat.
  14. When the offspring become a cause of grief and anger (for their parents)

The following is part of a lengthy Hadith narrated by Hadhrat Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood (R.A.) when he inquired from Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) about the Signs of Qiyamah..:

  1. Music and musical instruments will be found in every home.
  2. People will indulge in homosexuality.
  3. There will be an abundance of illegitimate children.
  4. There will be an abundance of critics, tale-carriers, back- biters and taunters in society.
  5. People will establish ties with strangers and sever relations with their near and dear ones.
  6. Hypocrites will be in control of the affairs of the community and evil, immoral people will be at the helm of business establishments.
  7. The Masjid will be decorated, but the hearts of the people will be devoid of guidance.
  8. The courtyards of Masjids will be built beautifully and high mimbars (pulpits) will be erected.
  9. Gangsters and evil people will prevail.
  10. Various wines will be consumed excessively.

Auf bin Malik (R.A.) says: I came to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) while he was in his skin tent during the Tabuk expedition. He said to me, “Count six things before the advent of Qiyamah:

  1. My death
  2. The conquest of Jerusalem
  3. Mass deaths amongst you people, just as when sheep die in large numbers during an epidemic
  4. Abundance of wealth to such an extent that if a person were to be given a hundred Dinars he will still not be satisfied
  5. General anarchy and bloodshed, that no Arab household will be spared from it
  6. Then a life of peace as a result of a peace agreement between you and the Banil Asfaar (Romans) which they will break and attack you with a force consisting of eighty flags and under each flag will be an army of twelve thousand men.” (Hadith: Sahih Bukhari).

IRAQ and SYRIA

Abu Nadhrah says: “We were sitting in the company of Jabir bin Abdullah (R.A.) when he said: ‘Soon the people of IRAQ will neither receive any food (grain) nor any money.'” We asked, “Why would such a thing happen?” He replied, “Because of the non-Arabs.” (i.e they will prevent food from going into Iraq, in the form of “sanctions” to this day.) He then said: “Soon the people of Shaam (SYRIA) will neither receive any money nor grain.” We asked as to why this would happen. He replied: “Because of the Romans (christians).”

CONCEITED PEOPLE:

Hadhrat Abbas (R.A) narrates that Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) has said, “Islam will spread far and wide, across the seas. Horses will cross the land and seas in the cause of Jihaad. Then a time will come wherein a group of people will emerge which recites the Quraan. They will claim, ‘We have recited the Quraan and is there anyone who understands the Quraan better than us? There is NO ONE more proficient than us in the study of the Quraan.’

Then Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) asked the Sahaba, “Do you see any good in their claims?” The Sahaba replied, “No”. Rasulallah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wassallam) said, “But these conceited claimants will be from my Ummah and will be the fuel of the Fire.” — from “Signs of Qiyamah” (excerpts) by Mohammed Ali Ibn Zubair Ali.

The Major Signs of the Last Day

A. The occurences before the Major Signs:

  1. GENOCIDE – A man from Abu Sufyaan’s (Suffyani) progeny massacres descendents of Nabi (S.A.W) and rules over Syria and Egypt.

  3. ISTANBUL CONQUERED BY CHRISTIANS – The enemy half of the Christian army conquers Constantinople (Istanbul), Turkey.
  4. ISTANBUL RECONQUERED JOINTLY BY MUSLIM AND CHRISTIANS – The Muslims and the good half of the Christian army conquer Constantinople together, against the enemy Christians. Thereafter, a Christian will say the victory was due to the cross, and the Muslim will say it was due to Islam. A battle between both sides will ensue, and the Muslim Ruler will be martyred.

  3. CONFRONTATION IN SYRIA – Imam Mahdi and the Muslim army go to Syria to confront the Christians. The Christians, before the battle, will ask Muslims for the return of their prisoners-of-war. The Muslims will refuse. The battle will begin. One-third of Imam Mahdi’s army will flee (their repentance will not be accepted), one-third will be martyred, and one-third will gain victory over the Christians.
  4. MUSLIM ARMY UNDER IMAAM MAHDI CONQUERS PALESTINE JIHAAD ON INDIA – A jamaat of Muslims wages Jihaad on India and be successful.
  5. SYRIA UNDER MUSLIM RULE – Imam Mahdi returns to Syria and establishes Muslim rule over the lands he passes.

The Final Signs of Qiyaamah:

  1. THE CAVING IN OF THE GROUND – The ground will cave in: one in the east, one in the west, and one in Hejaz, Saudi Arabia.
  2. THE FORTY DAY SMOKE/FOG – Fog or smoke will cover the skies for forty days. The non-believers will fall unconscious, while Muslims will be ill (develop colds). The skies will then clear up.

The beast will be able to talk to people and mark the faces of people, making the believers’ faces glitter, and the non-believers’ faces darkened.
  6. THE BREEZE FROM THE SOUTH – A breeze from the south causes sores in the armpits of Muslims, which they will die of as a result.
  7. DESTRUCTION OF THE KA’ABA – The Ka’aba will be destroyed by non-Muslim African group. Kufr will be rampant. Haj will be discontinued. The Qur’an will be lifted from the heart of the people, 30 years after the ruler Muquad’s death.
  8. FINAL SIGN OF QIYAAMAH: FIRE IN YEMEN – The fire will follow people to Syria, after which it will stop.
  9. COMMENCEMENT OF QIYAAMAH – Some years after the fire, Qiyaamah begins with the Soor (trumpet) being blown. The year is not known to any person. Qiyaamah will come upon the worst of creation.

I just wish, I’d be long gone before the final qiyamah taken place. I can not imagine the horror of sight year by year I would see. And, please, Allah, be it heaven as my reward, the place I return to. Aamiin..

Anyways, why do I decide to write about this? Well, mainly, it’s a personal reminder–for myself. Secondly, let this be knowledge for those who seek the knowledge of it. Thirdly, because I was amazed by these footages on the youtube, about strange trumpet-like sound, all over the world. Euh, actually, it was only heard in some parts of Europe (Ukraine, Slovak), USA, Central America, Australia, and Canada. We, in Indonesia, haven’t heard such sound, yet.

See the footages below. In year 2012, 2013, and 2015.

And here are the most recent:

Another one:

And here’s the news report worldwide:

Creepy, right?

Science might have an explanation about it, as the sound of nature–some kind of radio frequency or something like that. But to me, personally, it’s somewhat scary and remind me of Allah directly. How Great Allah is. How the universe is under Allah’s power. Anything is possible if Allah wants it–kun fayakun: Be! and it is. [from “But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is.” (Q.S. 36 Yaseen: 82)] Allahuakbar.
